Fire on Elmhurst

Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service responded to a house fire on Elmhurst, the residents evacuated the home safely, one person was treated and taken to hospital.
The single-family home, in the 800 block of Elmhurst Road, happened around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
All occupants of the house self-evacuated prior to the arrival of crews.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
