I have to thank each of the more than one hundred people who came to our Sturgeon Heights Community BBQ this week. I am grateful for the support and many words of encouragement and support.

It is an honour to represent our great community, and I’m proud of what we have accomplished. We established our own Seniors Advisory Group and held two well-attended Community Safety Forums with Winnipeg Police.
I’m very proud that we fought for Kirkfield Park at the Legislature and just announced funding for several organizations that serve our community. Such as:
- $226,000 for Sturgeon Heights Community Center
- $140,000 for new Pickleball Courts in Woodhaven Community Club.
- $300,000 for Grants Old Mill
- $150,000 for St. James – Assiniboia Minor Baseball Association
- $70,000 for Deer Lodge curling club for their roofing
- $25,000 for vision cheer company
We have invested over $30 million into the Grace Hospital this year alone, bringing the total investment to over $100 Million for our community hospital.
I’m proud we increased the St. James Assiniboia School Division budget by more than $49 million for the 23/24 school year, which is an 8.1% increase over the last school year.
This is what we have achieved in just seven months. Imagine what we will do in the next four years.
